This project aims to use the existing results at the consortium level by adapting and integrating the solutions obtained by the IW and UPB partners in the iLight project and by TUIASI in the SIMAPS and SIACT projects.
Through the activities prior to the proposed project, and in accordance with the results obtained in previous research and innovation with relevance to its purpose, the consortium partners defined the general architecture of the SMARTCARE platform and the general functionalities of the component modules.
The objectives of the proposed project are to develop the component modules, integrate them into the SMARTCARE prototype platform and test and validate it in relevant operational environments with controlled parameters.
The SMARTCARE project aims to design, implement and test in a controlled operational environment a hardware, software and communications platform to facilitate:
The design of customized monitoring solutions
Integration of monitoring devices for the physiological parameters of the assisted person
Integration of monitoring devices for environmental parameters in the living space
Defining and implementing complex scenarios for monitoring, aggregating and alerting the status of the monitored parameters
